Land of fairy-tales

Hey!
This is gonna be shorter cuz I am on a french keyboard and it is very confusing...
Beth and I left Bayreuth on Monday enroute to Heidelberg. It is a very old city with castle ruins all lined up the Neckar river, we only had the chance to see the Heidelberg Schloss (castle) on the hill in front of our hotel!! Still intact from the 1400`s. People have been very kind and helpful to us.
We left Heidelberg on Tuesday for Mulhouse, France to meet with Beth`s friend Krista and her good friends that live in Mulhouse that have been hosting us. They have 3 small kids that are just adorable and they don`t speak english but we`re working on it! :)
Yesterday Krista, Beth and I went on a beautiful hike thru the forest...we ate wild strawberries, cherries and we found a wild rasberry plant but it looked dilapidated. It took us 4 hours but towards the end the trail opened up into this huge vineyard..so beautiful!
God has really shown me that he has the small aspects of this trip taken care of. (getting there and getting here, doing that vs. doing this).
Our time in Bayreuth ended wonderfully...I wanted to stay longer. We did tour the Flossenberg Concentration camp near the Czech border. Many of the original buildings weren`t there but the memory of these peoples presence who passed thru the gates was definitely there.

Today the three of us are going on a wine tour of the region by car. This weekend we will make our way to Strassbourg to visit more friends before I head to Paris on Tuesday to meet Sophy!!
Hope all is well. I don`t really miss home, opps! :)
