I'm heading off to New Mexico!

Hello from the stifling east coast!
Wow! It has been very warm and humid here in Perryville, MD. My team arrived here for transition last Friday. It has been very nice being here. The weather is warm but very enjoyable. People are pitching tents or just sleeping out in the open meadows that surround our campus. It's perfect because the houses are so hot! There is a cute ice cream shop that is like 1/2 a mile from our house and the local pub is always a frequent spot of Corp members. It's been nice catching up with people I haven't seen since we started the program. And they switched up our housing so we're all living with different roommates, which I enjoy.
This coming week is SUMMER BREAK! YES! I am in such need of a break. These last few weeks have been stressful and full of responsibility as my team leader, Dan, took off with some other corp members to attend the disaster in Iowa. He will be returning before we leave for Birmingham thank god! In the meantime I am the team leader so ya'll better respect! haha.
So I will be meeting my wonderful family in Taos, New Mexico this week. We're gonna hike, river raft, explore the artsy native american town...and just plain relax. I'm so excited.

Well I love and hug and miss you all. Muah!
