Today we worked at the DuPont Estate (a wealthy Delaware family) in Bellvue, Delaware. The state took control of the estate back in 1975 and it is now a State Park. We trimmed hedges and cleared invasive plants. We got a great tour of the park/estate also. There are many recreation areas, open spaces, walking trails, a disc golf course, etc. The first US Women's Open for tennis was held at the estate. We had a coffee break with the gruffy maintenance men and had a home cooked lunch, compliments of the Volunteer Coordinator in the Park office. It was delicious!!
Here is most of the team next to the wood shredder:

We were trying to jump...

ME, sporting some uniform action in the van!

My housemates and I at lunch, one is missing.

Kinda nice

The misty morning view down by the water...pretty thick fog

Adrienne and I, one of my teammates

So this is what our basement looks like currently, about 4 inches of sludge remain on the ground from a broken pipe...so we're all moved out for the time being

Any problems viewing the pictures?! Let me know. I hope you're all able to see them.
Love love,
Becca
