Ameri-Bubble

HAha. That's the truth. There is this little thing called 'Ameri-language' Basically you take any word and put 'Ameri' in front of it. There's Amerilove, Amerifun, Ameristyle, ....you get the point.
But I totally feel like I'm in a bubble. I don't really know what's going on in the world or news. Feel free to fill me in!

So today is a SNOW DAY! Our training on diversity was canceled due to the inclement weather. There's only about an inch or two on the ground but they feel it's unsafe in the vans. I got a call from my team leader at 6:30am informing me of this great news! I don't know what to do with myself now. I really want to get away and go somewhere but we'll see if that will pan out.
As for today, I'm turning in my key to my old house on 4th street. The roomies and I are now separated for good. Sniff sniff. I like my new housemates though, they are all welcoming and nice. I will post a picture soon. I live on 2nd street now. Our little Ameri-community is called the village and about three fourths of the core live here, the other fourth live in the dorms. There are 315 of us total. WOW!

We have two more weeks here in Perry Point and then we head out to our respective projects. 20 hour road trip for my team, Eagle 2!!!!

Love and hugs!
Becca
